Just leaving now, lady behind the counter who's name I did t think to ask was super nice and helped me find ingredients :) very nice store, clean and well laid out. Question for others: is there a place local that carries Japanese style Charcoal, either natural or the hollow rectangles?

They have amazake! After living in Japan, my winter only feels complete with hot amazake. I didn't see it, but it was on front table to the left. Good thing my wife noticed. Hopefully this will be available for the next two months, I'll end up drinking at least one can per day I'm sure.

Ok let me start by saying i love this little store. It has all my favorite Japanese staples. Sesame oil, kewpie, onigiri, salmon roe, adzuki beans. so many snacks. This review would be too long if I named everything. And the prices are reasonable. Some things cheaper than the grocery store. The young lady that owns the place was super friendly and very helpful. If you are searching for your next tik tok snack or just want a reliable Japanese store this is it. Definitely check out Ichiban on Lynnhaven in the beach.

I randomly found this place walking around the Lynnhaven Mall area and I'm glad I did. The goods are straight from Japan and it's Japanese-owned as far as I can tell. I was so happy to find Mitsuya Cider there as I can't really find it anywhere else in the area. I introduced my brother to this place today and he enjoyed it as well. The snacks are also priced better when compared to other shops I've found so far.

This is is wonderful! I was expecting it to be a combo grocery store and Daiso , huge variety of hard to find food, sauces and snacks. I only wish I saved more of my paycheck to buy more. I JUST FOUND THEY HAVE FREEZERS FULL OF MORE WONDERFUL HARD TO FIND STUFF! 😃😃😃
